The UK is the very best destination in the world to have your stag weekend, it’s official*.
So what makes the UK attractive to stag parties? Is it to do with having some of the best nightlife found anywhere in the world? Or the amount of incredible adventurous stag activities on offer?
Whatever the magic formula is, we know one of the ingredients which makes the UK so popular with stag dos and that’s its destinations.
Below you will find 7 of the very best UK stag do destinations. In alphabetical order as the Jury’s still out on which ones are better than others:
Bournemouth
Situated right on the southern coast of England, Bournemouth is a seaside town which boasts 7 miles of golden sands. Whenever there’s a heatwave the news reporters will always be broadcasting from Bournemouth beach.
But Bournemouth is not just a seaside town destination, it has some of the best nightlife including lively bars and pubs, nightclubs to suit all tastes and epic gentleman’s clubs, if you’re into that sort of thing.
If you are looking to include a couple of experiences the stag can look back on then there’s no shortage of incredible activity sites offering; extremely fast Rage Buggy racing, shooting assault rifles, cruising around on quad bikes, paintball, bubble football, there’s just too many to mention!
However if you are looking for more of a city vibe….
Bristol
Bristol is one of the most contemporary cities in the UK, with the nick name of being called the mini London of the west.
There are loads of 4 star city centre hotels which welcome stag parties with open arms on the weekend and are all a short walking distance to the nightlife; whether it’s in the old part of the city or the new (not so new now) renovated docks which has numerous bars, restaurants and clubs.
Keeping the stag party busy in the day is not a hard task as Bristol has it all! You will find a huge amount of stag do ideas on offer whether you want to get mucky whilst racing karts or stay clean (ish) and go cider or beer tasting.
However, if you’re looking for a capital city to hold that last night of freedom….
Cardiff
The capital of Wales, Cardiff is infamous for having one of the wildest nights out. This is the wild west with a very friendly Welsh welcome.

Similar to Bristol, in Cardiff you have lots of places to party but most head for either the old part of Cardiff or make their way to Cardiff Bay which is full to the brim with bars, restaurants and clubs.
Swap one capital city to another….
Edinburgh
Edinburgh is Scotland’s capital city and what a capital city it is!
At night there are many districts of Edinburgh to party in including; The West End, Grassmarkets, Princes’ Street and the epic Royal Mile.
If you are looking for incredible stag do activities jump in the car or get a minibus and travel approximately 1.5 hrs up north and you have the magnificent highlands where you can do some of the best natural white water rafting in the UK, Gorge Scrambling which gives North Wales a good run for it’s money or if you just want fresh air arrange a walk and take in some of that incredible scenery.
Back to England and just over the border is…
Newcastle

Cornwall is the south western part of England and has a totally different feel to anywhere else in the UK. Newquay sits halfway down (towards Lands End) and has some of the best beaches in the UK.
With, almost guaranteed, waves 365 days a year Cornwall, and especially Newquay, is extremely popular for surfers and the likes, so whilst on your stag do it would be a crime not to try surfing or even coasteering.
