WHAT IS HAJJ?
For all the non-muslim readers who didn’t know that what is Hajj?
We described to you that Hajj is a religious event of Muslims and take place in the last month of the lunar calendar( a calendar which is based on monthly cycles of different phases of moons) of Muslims and this month is called Dhu al-Hijjah. The people who are going to perform this religious duty is called a pilgrimage. It is the religious duty of Muslims and must be carried out at least once in a lifetime. Hajj is one of the five pillars of Islam.

During Hajj, pilgrims join processions of hundreds of thousands of people, who simultaneously arranged in Mecca to perform a series of rituals during the Hajj. Each person walks counter-clockwise seven times around the Kaaba ( the direction of Muslim prayers) ,runs back and forth between the hills of Safa & Marwa, drinks from the Zamzam Well, goes to the plains of Mount Arafat to stand in vigil, spend a night in the plain of Muzdalifa, and performs symbolic stoning of the devil by throwing stones at three pillars. The pilgrims then shave their heads, perform a ritual of animal sacrifice, and celebrate the three-day global festival of Eid al-Adha. History is that ALLAH ordered father of Ibrahim Hazrat Ismail (AS) to sacrifice his son Ibrahim for the sake of GOD, so Ismail (AS) is the true follower of ALLAH and truly worshipped ALLAH, he agreed to sacrifice his son but in the end time ALLAH send a sheep to Ismail (AS) for sacrifices. that’s why Muslim sacrifices animals like a camel, goat, sheep or cow on the 1Oth of Dhu ul-hajjah.

Presence of pilgrimage occurs in Makkah from 8-13 of Dhu al-Hijjah. Ihram is the name given to the special spiritual state in which pilgrims wear two white sheets of seamless cloth and abstain from certain actions. The main objective of ihram clothing is to avoid attracting attention.
May Almighty accept all of the pilgrimage presence and give a spiritual effect of pureness in their heart.
